Jennifer RobinsonELA Teacher

“All children can learn and grow.”

    My educational background:

BS in Communications at East Carolina University.

My favorite teacher from my past:

It is impossible to pick just one! I am grateful for the knowledge, acceptance, and encouragement I received from them all; however, my art teacher in high school voluntarily read my dreadful teenage poetry which is basically grounds for sainthood.

What do I love about Epiphany?

Epiphany is like no other school. The belief in the importance of nurturing the whole child, and all the complicated and beautiful things that come along with that, takes center stage here.

How does teaching and working with children inspire me?

I cannot imagine doing anything else. Teaching feeds my soul, inspires me daily, and never ceases to surprise me. I get to come to work every single day and feel like what I do matters. It doesn’t get much better than that!

    My spirit animal:

    A penguin.

    My favorite board game:

    Trivial Pursuit.

    My favorite book:

    Goodnight Moon…yesterday, today, and forever!

    My Interests and hobbies:

I love listening to audiobooks! I never seem to have time to sit down and read a real book, but audiobooks let me listen while on the go! I spend lots of time with my daughter and am still attempting to civilize my latest rescue dog, Rose.

    My origins, travels and/or adventures:

I am a Charlotte-area native. We do exist! I grew up on a horse farm right outside of Mint Hill.

My favorite thing to do, place to go, or eatery in Charlotte:

I love Cracker Barrel! All of them. Everywhere!
