    My educational background:

    I have over 14 years of experience working in education as a teacher, tutor, and school counselor. I have worked with all ages and am excited to work with a combination of ages at Epiphany!

    My social/emotional trainings:

    Masters of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University as well as numerous professional development classes!

    My favorite teacher from my past:

    Ms. Tuschinski–She was my Journalism teacher and helped me grow my love of writing!

    What do I love about Epiphany?

    I love that there is a place where our students can be themselves and enjoy school!

    How does teaching and working with children inspire me?

    I love that every student is so different and that no day is the same. I learn as much from them as they learn from me!

    My favorite movie:

    My family and I really enjoy watching movies together. Some of my favorites are older movies: Back to the Future, Say Anything, The Breakfast Club, Jaws, Sixteen Candles, Dirty Dancing, The Outsiders, Pretty in Pink, Steel Magnolias, etc!

    My favorite board game:

    I have always loved to play Clue!

    My favorite character, cartoon, or superhero:

    I love Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I identified with her growing up because of her brown hair and love for reading. 🙂

    My Interests and hobbies:

    I love to read, craft, and travel with my 3-year-old twins and husband in my free time. I also love to cheer on my undergraduate university, the University of Florida Gators! Go Gators!

    My origins, travels and/or adventures:

    I love to go to Arizona and visit my best friend and her family. It is so beautiful there!

    My favorite thing to do, place to go, or eatery in Charlotte:

    Charlotte has so many great things to offer and so many amazing places to eat! We love to try new eateries when we get a chance.
