“As the proud father of a neurodiverse son who attends The Epiphany School of Charlotte, I believe in the school’s mission enough that I joined the board to become part of that mission.  The teachers and staff at Epiphany don’t just speak the language of social and emotional learning; they embrace learning differences by using real world approaches that help meet students’ individual needs.  After some school situations that were not a good fit for our son, my wife Jennifer home-schooled him for two years.  We were reluctant to place him in another classroom setting.  Choosing Epiphany is one of the best decisions we ever made.  The small classes, caring, experienced, teachers and staff, focus on emotional well-being and coping strategies, emphasis on interpersonal communications, and classes that go beyond academics have created a positive learning environment and have helped prepare our son for high school and life beyond.  I want other kids and parents to be able to experience the kind of difference that Epiphany has made in our lives.”
