What do I love about Epiphany?

Epiphany is an inclusive environment that allows children a chance to explore themselves and their environment in a safe space. This is important to me as a teacher because I am given the opportunity to support the whole child in a classroom setting.

How does teaching and working with children inspire me?

I have always enjoyed working with children. They offer a fresh perspective and their brains never cease to amaze and surprise me. In short, my life is richer for having come in contact with so many talented, funny, and gifted children.

I like to hike and dance with my husband. My newest hobby is learning to play the guitar. Also, I have four fur babies that wait for me patiently to return home from work every day. They are my three dogs Bailey, Mason, and Mojo and my tripod cat named Bigfoot.

My origins, travels and/or adventures:

I am from Alabama and lived most of my life in Sarasota, Florida. I moved to North Carolina in 2010. I love to travel and have visited many countries outside of the United States. So far, Italy is my favorite vacation and museum visiting hotspot.

My favorite thing to do, place to go, or eatery in Charlotte:

This one is easy United States Whitewater Center on a Sunday.
